CO2Remove project concludes: CO2 storage safe and effective

On 29 February 2012, the EU-project CO2ReMoVe presented its findings at its closing conference. The project has been successful in creating a scientifically based reference for the monitoring and verification of CO2 geological storage. Through extensive R&D into monitoring, measurements and verification on multiple storage sites in operation, CO2ReMoVE has demonstrated the long term reliability and safety of geological CO2 storage.
