The Region Coordinator is responsible for coordination and integration of the various efforts from a regional perspective and as such supports the Location Managers. The programme at the moment includes two regions (West Netherlands - RCI, Northern-Netherlands). Within each region a number of pilot and small scale demonstration projects are being developed in preparation of a large scale Demo. The Region Coordinator helps to identify general applied research needs for the region.

The Region Coordinators have been proposed by the CATO-2 workgroup and will be appointed by the Executive Board.
